Ultimate Geek Fu

Double-Header Day!
We had two pretty simple ideas for this week's Ultimate Geek Fu and couldn't choose between 'em, so we decided, what the heck, let's use both! Ergo, first up:

Clash of the Titans: First Reactions
Okay, it's been released. Quick now, before it goes straight to Blockbuster: who here saw Clash of the Titans? What did you think? Was it worth it? Did anyone else notice that it was exactly the same story as Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, only longer, louder, more expensively made, and less interesting?

Or if you've nothing to say on that topic, how about:

"V" ReVisited
The sci-fi series V has returned to the airwaves after a four-month hiatus. Let's have a show of hands, and please be honest. Who here is watching it? Who thinks it's pretty good? Who thinks it really stinks? Who here could care less about it, good or bad? Who here is actually a reptiloid from Alpha Draconis?

Just testing.

And most of all, who here thinks the idea of taking a four-month hiatus between episodes 4 and 5 of a new TV series is Fox Network "Firefly"-grade programming stupidity?

Let the arguments begin.

ULTIMAGE GEEK FU runs every Wednesday. Have a question that's just bugging the heck out of you about Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, Battlestar Gallactica, Farscape, Firefly, Fringe, Heroes, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Smallville, The X-Files, X-Men, The Man From Atlantis, or pretty much any other SF-flavored media property? Send it to slushpile@thefridaychallenge.com with the subject line, "Geek Fu," and we'll stuff it in the queue.
